"Wendy, an amazing amazing book! I'm usually good with words, but there's so much heart and emotion and spirit in your story it's hard for me to express. It amazes me -- and saddens me -- to know that the lovely person I know has been through such difficult and painful times.
That you have become the person that you are through enduring such pain -- both the pain of cruelty and the pain of loss -- is inspiration and witness. I think your story will touch and amaze and inspire a lot of people. Your humility and natural-ness is testimony to God at the same time.
I resonated with waking up with songs in my mind that spoke to me about a particular time; I also had dreams of my deceased dad, but he never spoke to me in dreams -- which I had heard was typical. So thankful that you were blessed with conversation from Billy.
Anyway -- whew! God bless you and Rod and Beau and your entire family. I see you all with new eyes, and that's a gift to me. Thank you."
Grace and peace,
